Getting Started with Experience Design

Meaningful experiences, such as the feeling of trust, are at the core of human flourishing and thus, worth designing for. Experience design aims to enable meaningful experiences through designing digital or non-digital services, products, spaces, events or whatever best enables the wanted experience. The focus is on imagining the best possible experience rather than fixing the current problems.

This workshop introduces the Experience Goal-Driven Design approach to about 30 participants (no prerequisites). After an introduction to the topic, groups of participants will exercise designing for experiences and generate design ideas to match the goals.

This event will be organized by the researchers from Aalto University and VTT. We hope the session will inspire the participants and give them the basic skills to design for meaningful experiences. The workshop will be conducted in English.
