Duration
Until June 30, 2020

Research area
The successful candidate will support the research of Project A03 
‘Geometric Constraints on Polytopes’ within the collaborative research 
centre SFB/TRR 109 ‘Discretization in Geometry and Dynamics’ ( 
http://www.discretization.de ) funded by DFG. The objective of Project 
A03 is to study the interaction between geometric properties of convex 
polytopes and their combinatorial data.

Requirements
The applicant should have a PhD in mathematics and should possess solid 
skills and research experience relevant for the project (discrete 
geometry with further connections to Geometry/Discrete 
Mathematics/Topology/Numerics). Willingness to collaborate and to work 
in a team. Programming experience is an asset.
