has an opening for 5 new positions on the level of assistant or 
associate professor (f/m). The positions are in the areas Computational 
Science (CS), Data Science (DS) and Operations Research (OR). We 
especially aim to strengthen the department in:

	• Mathematics of uncertainty quantification (CS)
	• Statistical theory for machine learning methods (DS)
	• Statistics for complex data structures (DS)
	• Optimization with distributed and uncertain data (OR)
	• Optimization & Learning (OR)

The positions come with a reduced teaching load for young staff, for the 
first 5 years.
