The Institute of Discrete Mathematics, the Institute of Geometry, and 
the Institute of Software Technology at the Graz University of 
Technology (TU Graz) in Austria invite applications for one PhD position 
and one postdoc position on any of the following areas:

- combinatorics and free-probability. To work with Cesar Ceballos

- combinatorics, discrete geometry, and algorithms. To work with Oswin 
Aichholzer <http://www.ist.tugraz.at/aichholzer/ and Cesar Ceballos 
<http://www.geometrie.tugraz.at/ceballos/index.html>

The successful candidates will be located at TU-Graz 
(https://www.tugraz.at/en and will be associated to the Austria-France 
international collaborative research project "Beyond Permutahedra and 
Associahedra: Geometry, Combinatorics, Algebra, and Probability'' 
(https://pagcap.lisn.upsaclay.fr/ which is founded by FWF 
<https://www.fwf.ac.at/> and ANR <https://anr.fr/>.

The PhD position is a 3-year position with a gross monthly income of 
2.237,60 EUR (14x a year), a potential starting date is October 1st, 
2022. A master degree obtained before the beginning of the job is 
required for this position.


The postdoc position is a 2-year position with a gross monthly income of 
3.945,90 EUR (14x a year) and a flexible starting date.
