Postdoctoral Position
Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Andreas S. Schulz

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral fellowship position in 
discrete mathematics starting September 1, 2021. More information about

It is expected that candidates hold a Ph.D. degree at the start of the 
fellowship. The doctoral degree may be either in mathematics or 
theoretical computer science. A background and interest in one of the 
following areas are desired: algorithmic game theory, algorithmic graph 
theory, approximation algorithms, computational complexity, 
combinatorial optimization, integer programming, machine learning, 
mathematical optimization, polyhedral combinatorics.

The successful candidate will have already demonstrated outstanding 
research abilities.

The position is for 12 months initially. Teaching is possible but not 
required. The fellowship will provide an annual stipend of at least EUR 
30,000 plus a travel allowance. The Technical University of Munich also
