Kent Business School at University of Kent invites applications for the 
following two positions within the Department of Analytics, Operations & 
Systems:


-   Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Business Analytics

-   Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Operations Management


We are looking for dedicated scholars who are keen to make strong 
contributions to both research and teaching in these area, as well as to 
our student enterprise and business engagement activities.


Applicants should have a clearly defined research agenda with a track 
record of publishing in top peer-reviewed journals. Evidence of income 
generation, research impact or corporate engagement is expected in the 
case of appointments to Senior Lecturer level.


Although all cognate areas of Business Analytics and Operations 
Management will be considered, we are particularly interested in 
applicants with research expertise in areas that the Department of 
Analytics, Operations & Systems is looking to grow. More specifically:


-   For the Business Analytics lectureship: Optimisation, decision 
analysis, healthcare analytics, performance management, Soft OR and 
Systems Thinking.

-   For the Operations Management lectureship: lean systems, process and 
value stream mapping, supply chain design and management, digital 
technologies, production planning, quality control and improvement and 
inventory management.


Applicants who are keen to contribute to the development of key research 
themes within the School, including healthcare, transportation, 
sustainability and UN Sustainable Development Goals are particularly 
encouraged to apply.
