Purdue University welcomes applications for a postdoctoral fellow in the 
area of pattern formation and complex systems, to join Alexandria 
Volkening's group in the Department of Mathematics 
(https://www.math.purdue.edu) or the Weldon School of Biomedical 
Engineering (engineering.purdue.edu/BME 
<https://engineering.purdue.edu/BME>). The successful applicant will 
collaborate on one or more multidisciplinary projects related to 
data-driven, agent-based, or PDE modeling of pattern formation for 
developmental-biology applications, such as skin-pattern formation or 
plant growth. Projects may use biological data and questions to motivate 
topological techniques or parameter-estimation methods for complex systems.
