*Responsibilities: *
This position entails working directly with Dr. Harbir Antil 
<http://math.gmu.edu/~hantil/>. Some of the current research interests 
in the group are: algorithms for optimization problems governed by 
large-scale physical models given by partial differential equations 
(PDEs), optimization under uncertainty, fractional PDEs, inverse 
problems, dimensionality reduction, deep learning, and applications.

The initial appointment will be for one year, with the possibility of 
yearly extensions depending on the availability of funds.
