Dear colleagues,

Please allow me to advertise a 3 post-doc position in Tromsø - at the 
world’s northern most mathematics department. The position will be 
attached to my project “Symmetry in quantitative and algorithmic real 
algebraic geometry”  funded by Tromsø Research foundation  and the 
Lie-Størmer Center for fundamental structures in computational and pure 
mathematics (www.lie-stoermer.no/ <http://www.lie-stoermer.no/>). The 
main focus of research will be around round mathematical structures that 
are fundamental efficient computations, in particular, on the role of
symmetry to facilitate and structure computational processes. The ideal 
candidate will have some background in computational aspects of 
algebra/topology/geometry and should draw connections to ongoing 
research activities in the Algebra group
or the Lie-Størmer Center. Application deadline is June 28. More details
