The department of Applied Mathematics at the University of Twente (The 
Netherlands) offers a new

permanent position as Assistant or Associate Professor

in Graphs, Networks and Applications in Machine Learning.

The position is supposed to strengthen the existing foundational 
research on algorithms, graphs, and networks with applications to data 
science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.

The position will be in the Applied Mathematics department, which has a 
strong research portfolio in algorithmic discrete mathematics, 
stochastic operations research, complex networks, statistics, systems 
theory, computational science, and artificial intelligence, with 
applications in energy, health, traffic and imaging. See
