The George Mason University, Center for Mathematics and Artificial 
Intelligence (CMAI) and Department of Mathematical Sciences, invites 
well-qualified candidates to apply for a twelve-month Postdoctoral 
Research Fellow position. Just 20 miles from the Nations capital, GMU is

Responsibilities: This position entails working directly in the research 
group of Dr. Harbir Antil in collaboration with various national labs. 
Current group's broad research interests are in: numerical analysis, 
optimization, optimization problems with PDE constraints (with or 
without uncertainty), reduced order modeling, deep learning, digital 
twins and several application areas in fluid dynamics, neuromorphic 
imaging, structures, etc. The initial appointment will be for one year, 
with the possibility of yearly extensions depending on the availability 
of funds.
