The Science, Engineering & Technology Group of KU Leuven Campus Kulak in
Kortrijk, Belgium, has an opening for a tenured / tenure track position
(depending on the seniority of the selected candidate) in computer
science. The envisaged computer science areas include, but are not
limited to, artificial intelligence, machine learning and data-science,
databases and data-driven systems and applications, computer systems and
computer networks, software engineering, programming languages, and
theoretical computer science. As a faculty member, you develop a
research program at an international level in one or more of these
areas. The new member of staff will be embedded within the Department of
Computer Science of KU Leuven at Campus Kulak.
We are looking for internationally oriented candidates with an excellent
research record, with a solid background in computer science, and with
teaching competence in informatics and computer science. It is important
to note that the teaching duties linked to this position require an
immediate and profound active knowledge of the Dutch language.
