We are offering a new Ph.D. or postdoc position in the quantum 
optimization group [1] at the Hamburg University of Technology in 
Germany.  It is a full-time position for 3.5 years and we are looking 
for candidates with interdisciplinary backgrounds including mathematics, 
computer science, and physics.

The main research topic of the offered position is solving combinatorial 
optimization problems with quantum and quantum-inspired computing. The 
research is embedded in a scientific collaboration on Fujitsu's Digital 
Annealer.
