Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute invites applications for a tenure-track 
position as an Assistant or Associate Professor in applied mathematics 
to begin in August 2024.

We welcome candidates with a commitment to applied mathematics and 
interdisciplinary research. Of particular interest are candidates whose 
work involves one or more of the following areas: mathematical 
foundations of data science or machine learning, mathematical 
optimization, and modeling and novel computational approaches for 
challenging problems with societal or technological impact in such areas 
as quantum systems, energy, health, and climate and environmental 
sciences, among others.
