The Department of Computer Science at Heidelberg University invites 
applications for the position of Akademische*r Rat/Rätin (A13), starting 
March 1, 2025.


We are seeking computer scientists aiming for an academic career in 
Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or Data Science with a strong 
interest in teaching. Responsibilities include:

- Teaching core and advanced computer science courses (lectures, 
seminars, and labs).
- Conducting research in ML, AI, or Data Science, preferably with 
applications in industry, business, or public administration.
- Supporting the department in teaching administration and quality 
development.

Requirements: A completed university degree, a Ph.D., excellent teaching 
skills, and strong German and English proficiency. Postdoctoral academic 
or relevant professional experience is advantageous.
