The quantum optimization team at the Hamburg University of Technology is 
looking for PhD students and postdocs (100% E13 TV-L) on two quantum 
computing topics.


*Topic 1*: Quantum algorithms for estimating properties of quantum 
many-body systems for quantum chemistry. The research will focus on the 
estimation of ground state properties of such systems.
A collaboration with Covestro (Christian Gogolin) is anticipated.

*Topic 2*: Quantum computer readout for energy estimation. The research 
will focus on the estimation of material science properties and continue 
our research on ShadowGrouping.
A collaboration with IQM and Bosch is anticipated.
