The Department of Mathematics at the University of Florida seeks to fill
one tenure-track position in the area of Probability and Stochastic
Processes (broadly interpreted) at the Assistant Professor level,
beginning August 16, 2025. The successful candidate will join a vibrant
department of approximately 60 faculty and 85 graduate students pursuing
research in a broad array of pure and applied areas.

Candidates should have an established research program, a compelling
plan for future research, the ability to supervise both graduate and
undergraduate research, and a commitment to excellence in teaching. A
Ph.D. degree in Mathematics or a closely related field is required. The
salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and
experience, and includes a full benefits package. The Department of
Mathematics is committed to diversity across all its dimensions, and we
particularly welcome applications from groups that have been
historically excluded from the mathematical community.

Although applications will be accepted until the position is filled,
only those received by November 1, 2024 can be guaranteed full
consideration.
