[Job-offers-cs] Open rank faculty position in Scientific Machine Learning at UT-Austin

The Oden Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences and the 
Department of Mathematics at The University of Texas at Austin have an 
opening for a tenured or tenure-track faculty position beginning Fall 
2025 in the area of Scientific Machine Learning (SciML). We are seeking 
candidates working on the mathematical and algorithmic foundations of 
SciML in a broad sense. Particular areas of interest include, but are 
not limited to, development and analysis of machine learning models for 
scientific computing, theory and algorithms for sampling, large graph 
models, techniques for high-dimensional problems, inverse problems, and 
multiscale modeling and/or nonlinear dynamics. We are also interested in 
the development and analysis of large-scale nonconvex optimization 
methods used in machine learning. The ideal candidate will bring 
mathematics and computation together, and have a track record of
