for

Two Postdoctoral Researchers (m/f/x) – Data & AI

These full-time positions are available immediately for 36 months at HPI 
in Potsdam, Germany. Sponsorship for a work visa can be provided. The 
salary is 72k€ per year. The Data & AI Cluster at the Hasso Plattner 
Institute is currently seeking to fill two postdoctoral research 
positions and is inviting applications from excellent candidates. This 
is an exceptional opportunity for highly motivated and talented 
individuals to conduct cutting-edge research. The successful candidates 
are expected to set their own research agenda in the context of the 
following areas:

* Scalable, Data-Efficient/Energy-Efficient Learning and/or Optimization 
Algorithms
* Physics-Based AI and Machine Learning Algorithms * Interpretable and 
Explainable AI
* Machine Learning Theory
* AI for Science
* AI for Social Good
* Complex Data Analysis and Intelligence
* Database Systems and Architectures
* Data Quality and Preparation
* Data Integration and Management
* Stream Processing and Spatial Analytics
