*The Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE) at Rutgers
University***invites applications for a senior faculty position with a
planned start date of *Fall 2026*.
*S*enior faculty position with Tenure at the rank of Full Professor**
We are seeking an accomplished and visionary scholar with a strong
record of impactful research, high-caliber publications, and leadership
within the field of industrial and systems engineering. The successful
candidate will be expected to advance the department's prominence
through externally funded research and multi-disciplinary and
multi-university collaborations, innovative teaching and mentoring
undergraduate and graduate students, and strategic partnerships with
industry in cutting-edge areas of systems analytics and engineering.
Applicants should have a robust background in industrial and systems
engineering or a closely related discipline. We particularly welcome
candidates whose research enhances and complements our existing
strengths, including (but not limited to): *artificial intelligence and
data science, systems analytics and optimization, stochastic systems,
automation science and cybernetics, energy systems, human factors and
human-machine systems, manufacturing systems, and/or quality and
reliability engineering**.*
