The PIs of the project are Valerio Lucarini, Jinqiao Duan,. Rui Liu, and Ting Gao. Areas of interest include: mathematics of planet earth, non-equilibrium statistical mechanics, climate dynamics, stochastic dynamics, machine learning and dynamical systems, stochastic partial differential equations, ?non-equilibrium statistical mechanics, stochastic biological physics, theoretical neurosciences, probability and mathematical physics. Expertise in numerical modelling and data-driven methods are of special interest. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis, starting on February 1, 2026.
