[Job-offers-cs] Postdoctoral Positions in the Mathematics of Tipping Points

We are seeking several postdoctoral fellows in data sciences, 
mathematics, physics, and geosciences for a project on tipping points in 
the climate system and in neurosciences funded by the National Natural 
Science Foundation of China. The PIs of the project are Valerio 
Lucarini, Jinqiao Duan,. Rui Liu, and Ting Gao.

Areas of interest include: mathematics of planet earth, non-equilibrium 
statistical mechanics, climate dynamics, stochastic dynamics, machine 
learning and dynamical systems, stochastic partial differential 
equations,  non-equilibrium statistical mechanics, stochastic biological 
physics, theoretical neurosciences, probability and mathematical physics.

Expertise in numerical modelling and data-driven methods are of special 
interest.

Applications will be considered on a rolling basis, starting on February 
1, 2026. The positions will be based at the School of Sciences of the 
newly established Great Bay University (https://www.gbu.edu.cn), which 
sits in the center of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Salary: Approximately 50000 USD per year, for two years.
