The Algorithms and Complexity Group at TU Wien
(<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://www.ac.tuwien.ac.at">http://www.ac.tuwien.ac.at</a>) is offering a 6-year full-time
postdoc position with a research focus on Algorithmics and
Algorithm Engineering to start in September 2021. The successful
candidate will work under supervision of Prof. Martin Noellenburg.

The specific requirements for this position are the following:<br>
<br>
- A completed PhD degree in Computer Science (or a related area) -
Excellent knowledge in algorithmics and algorithm engineering<br>
- Research experience in one or more of the following areas: graph
drawing, graph algorithms, computational geometry, combinatorial
optimization, visualization algorithms<br>
- Excellent publications in top-tier conferences and journals<br>
- Very good oral and written communication skills<br>
- Experience and interest in (independent) teaching and
supervision of students<br>
- A good command of English and German is necessary<br>

Entry level salary as a postdoctoral researcher is covered by
level B1 of the Austrian Collective Agreement for university
staff, and receives a minimum of currently EUR 3.945,90/month
