We are looking to appoint a postdoctoral researcher for an initial
duration<br>
of one year (with the possibility of renewal) at the LGI
(Laboratoire de<br>
Genie Industriel - Industrial Engineering Research Department) at<br>
CentraleSupelec Universite Paris-Saclay.<br>

<br>
<br>
The Future Cities Lab is a joint research lab at Centrale Pekin,
in<br>
collaboration with Beihang University, CentraleSupelec and IRT
SystemX. The<br>
lab is initially funded by Paris Region and the City of Beijing.
The lab is<br>
concerned with the emerging topics in understanding, modeling and
managing<br>
various urban systems such as transport, energy, water supply,
waste and<br>
other areas.<br>

<br>
Developing novel algorithms for designing, planning, and operating<br>
on-demand transport systems in an intermodal context. The focus
will be on<br>
data analysis, planning, and/or optimization under uncertainty for<br>
on-demand transport systems in the context of large urban regions.
The<br>
investigation of the interactions between electric vehicles and
power<br>
systems will be an important part of the research.<br>
