<p>The Mathematics Department at the University of Houston invites
applications from candidates working at the interface of applied
mathematics, mathematical biology, and network science for a
tenure-track Assistant Professor position. We are particularly
interested in someone with expertise in mathematical biology and
network science who could further develop the strengths of the
department, but would also establish connections with researchers
at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, the UH Medical
School, and the larger community in the Texas Medical Center in
Houston. A minimum requirement for this position is a PhD in
Mathematics or a related field. Official transcripts are required
for a faculty appointment and will be requested upon selection of
the final candidate. Four letters of recommendations will be
requested of which one addresses teaching. </p>
