The School of Mathematics at Monash University invites applicants
for the<br>
position of Research Fellow to work on random generation and
enumeration of<br>
combinatorial structures, in particular problems related to
statistical<br>
contingency tables. The research is supported by the Australian
Research<br>
Council through a Discovery Project held jointly by Prof Nick
Wormald at<br>
Monash, and Dr Anita Liebenau at UNSW Sydney. Applicants must have
a<br>
doctoral qualification in Mathematics and a strong background in<br>
combinatorial mathematics, preferably including asymptotics and/or
random<br>
structures.<br>
<br>
The position is available for up to 2 years. A formal visiting
appointment<br>
at UNSW Sydney is possible, including significant time spent at
UNSW Sydney.<br>
