The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Hong
Kong<br>
University of Science and Technology (HKUST) invites applications
for a<br>
postdoc position in theoretical computer science. The position is
initially<br>
for 12 months, with the possibility of extension to a second year.
It is<br>
funded by an RGC grant in the group of Amir Goharshady (<br>
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://www.goharshady.com/">https://www.goharshady.com/</a> The starting date is flexible and we
plan to<br>
fill the position by late 2022 or early 2023.<br>

The candidate is expected to have excellent research experience
and<br>
publications in theoretical computer science. We welcome
applicants from<br>
all areas of TCS. However, prior experience in either
parameterized<br>
algorithms and complexity or theoretical aspects of blockchains is
highly<br>
desirable.<br>
