searching for a candidate who is not only a passionate researcher
but also a motivated teacher. In particular, we are looking for
applicants with the following qualifications:

- Experience in algorithms research, proven by a PhD in algorithms
or another relevant discipline and by publications in leading
international conferences and journals in the area.
- Experience with or enthusiasm for teaching, both at BSc and MSc
level, and for supervising MSc and PhD students.
- Motivation for setting up collaborations and acquiring research
funds.
- Willingness to contribute to the department, for example by
serving on departmental committees.
- Good communications skills and good command of English;
candidates need not speak Dutch.

You will join a dynamic and internationally oriented research
group in a thriving university. You will work on a beautiful,
green campus within walking distance of Eindhoven city center. In
addition, we offer you:

- A Tenure Track of up to five years and – if successful – a
subsequent development track towards Associate Professor.
Alternatively, we offer a one-year contract as Assistant Professor
which can become permanent on the same employment level upon
successful evaluation.
- Salary in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for
Dutch Universities.
- A year-end bonus of 8.3% and annual vacation pay of 8%.
- A dedicated mentoring program to help you get to know the
university and the Dutch (research) environment.
- High-quality training programs for academic leadership and
teaching.
- An excellent technical infrastructure, on-campus children's day
care and sports facilities.
Partially paid parental leave and an allowance for commuting,
working from home and internet costs.
- A Staff Immigration Team is available for international
