The Department of Pharmacology in conjunction with the Alberta
Machine<br>
Intelligence Institute (Amii) at the University of Alberta invites<br>
applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor with a
research focus on<br>
pharmacogenomics and machine learning.<br>
<br>
The successful applicant will be expected to establish and
maintain an<br>
independent research program in discovery and/or applied
pharmacogenomics<br>
research. Neurological conditions are a priority but other disease
areas<br>
may be acceptable. The individual will also contribute to the
Department’s<br>
teaching and<br>
<br>
research supervision of undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate<br>
learners.<br>

PhD in pharmacology, machine learning or related field<br>

Demonstrated research strengths in the areas of basic mechanisms

action, genetic and<br>

and/or public health issues<br>
