<p>The Department of Mathematics at the University of North Carolina
at Chapel Hill (UNC-CH) invites applications for a tenure-track
assistant professor position in applied mathematics. Candidates
who aim to establish a research program in any area of applied
mathematics, broadly construed, are strongly encouraged to apply.
We particularly seek candidates who plan to build strong
interdisciplinary collaborations, including with faculty in
UNC-CH's College of Arts and Science, School of Data Science and
Society, School of Medicine, Eshelman School of Pharmacy, and/or
Gillings School of Global Public Health. The Department and
UNC-CH's Carolina Center for Interdisciplinary Applied Mathematics
provide an outstanding environment to pursue interdisciplinary
research in applied and computational mathematics. <br>

mathematics, or a related field is required at the time of
appointment. Postdoctoral experience and evidence of outstanding
research promise and dedication to excellent teaching are
expected.<br>
