    <p>The ELBE postdoctoral fellows and faculty visiting program (named

      after the ELBE river in Dresden, Germany) is open for applications

      with deadline14 February. We are interested in independent

      researchers on the postdoctoral level for 2-3 years or faculty for

      2-3 months, who come with their own research proposal and freely

      choose which groups to affiliate with at the Center for Systems

      Biology Dresden (joint between Max Planck Institutes in Dresden

      and Technical University of Dresden). This fellowship program

      provides an ideal springboard to an independent research career in

      mathematics, computer science, machine learning, theoretical

      biophysics, systems biology and connections with biological

      applications.</p>
