Join us for Intro to Scientific Computing and HPC 4,5,6/June/2024!

What? A three days online course to quickly get started with large scale computational resources at your university or CSC
When? 4,5,6 June 12-16 EEST (11-15 CEST)
Where? Online on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/coderefinery
Why? This is the basic course on HPC that takes you "from zero to LUMI", when you need large resources for your data science
Who? The target audience are new doctoral researchers and summer interns at research institutions, but also more experienced researchers can learn something new.

The course is organised by Aalto Scientific Computing. While most of the examples given in the learning materials are based on Aalto University Triton HPC slurm cluster, we are trying to support as many clusters from as many universities as possible, so please join us! Please note that we are not able to provide you with an account to an HPC cluster, get in touch with people at your university for obtaining one.

Note: If the days/times are not good for you, register anyway: you will be the first to get access to all recorded materials and FAQ documents from the event. The materials have been very useful for junior researchers especially summer interns who are just starting at various universities, and you can revisit them throughout the summer if you need. The materials also have something interesting for the more expert researchers.
