The Interdisciplinary Center for Scientific Computing (IWR) of
Heidelberg University invites applications for at

*Full Professorship (W3 with endowment) in Scientific Computing*

at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, to start at the 
earliest possible date. The successful candidate will have a research 
record of international standing in model-based optimization with strong 
connections to applications. Their field of expertise will complement 
our existing strengths and offer opportunities for collaboration. We 
seek to fill the position with an outstanding scientist. Exceptionally 
qualified candidates at an earlier career stage will be also considered.
