The Department of Mathematical Sciences at George Mason University 
invites applications for *three tenure-track positions* at the rank of 
Assistant Professor, to begin 25 August 2021. Candidates with 
postdoctoral experience are preferred.

These positions are in support of the state-funded Tech Talent 
Investment Program (TTIP) which seeks to increase the number of Virginia 
graduates at the bachelor’s and master’s level in technology and 
computing related fields including mathematical sciences. Preference 
will be given to candidates whose research interests align with those of 
the department and with the TTIP goals. The search will focus on 
applicants with expertise in the areas of computational and theoretical 
mathematics related to modeling, dynamical systems, graph theory, 
combinatorics, and probability, but all disciplines will be considered.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach at both the 
undergraduate and graduate levels and to support the department’s PhD 
program in Mathematics. For more information, visit
