1-2 postdoctoral fully funded positions are currently available at the
Network Computation group (at the Engineering Faculty of Bar Ilan
University in Israel).
The university is located in the Tel-Aviv metropolitan area.

The Network Computation group consists of four faculty members:
Dr. Ran Gelles (https://www.eng.biu.ac.il/gellesr/),
Prof. Zvika Lotker,
Dr. Moti Medina (https://sites.google.com/view/motimedina/home), and
Prof. Dror Rawitz (https://www.eng.biu.ac.il/rawitzd/)

In the Network Computation group, we study various computational models
from both theoretical and practical angles, as well as the connection
between these models, for example: distributed, online, and approximated
computing on graph and network problems, algorithms in hardware, circuit
complexity, communication complexity, coding theory, distributed coding
schemes, and social networks.

Postdoctoral researchers in our group are encouraged to work on any of
these topics and with any of the researchers in the group.

Each position is for 1 year and can be extended by an additional year
contingent upon funding and satisfactory performance.

**The expected starting date is January 2022 (flexible).**

Candidates of various backgrounds (Computer Science, Computer Engineering,
Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics) who are interested in
performing cutting-edge research are welcome to apply.

2. a short research statement (that emphasizes the compatibility to at
least one of the researchers), and
