Postdoctoral research positions are available in the Optimization and
Machine Learning group at the MBZUAI, Abu Dhabi, UAE. The successful
candidate will be hosted by Martin Takac https://mtakac.com/Join

The position is for 1+ years. The start date is flexible; however, a start
date close to September 2021 is preferred.

The applicant should have a strong interest in either
a) the design and analysis of algorithms for machine learning (adaptive
algorithms, distributed, quantization, federated learning)
b) applications and theory of deep learning

You should have
- completed PhD degree in CS (or related field)
- excellent publication records in top-tier conferences and journals (ICML,
NeurIPS, AISTATS, ...)
- excellent oral and written communication skills
