The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Hong Kong
University of Science and Technology (HKUST) invites applications for a
postdoc position in theoretical computer science. The position is initially
for 12 months, with the possibility of extension to a second year. It is
funded by an RGC grant in the group of Amir Goharshady (
https://www.goharshady.com/ The starting date is flexible and we plan to
fill the position by late 2022 or early 2023.

The candidate is expected to have excellent research experience and
publications in theoretical computer science. We welcome applicants from
all areas of TCS. However, prior experience in either parameterized
algorithms and complexity or theoretical aspects of blockchains is highly
desirable.
