A Research Fellowship position in Biomedical-informatics to be held with 
the Bioinformatics Group at at the Istituto di Informatica e Telematica 
of the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR) of Italy in the year

The awarding of the position is via a public selection consisting in a 
written application and an interview. Please refer to the official call 
(In Italian) for details of the profile and of the procedures for 
applying. The fellowship will be funded within  the “Next Generation EU” 
(PNRR) funded initiative THE (Tuscany Health Ecosystem), for the 
sub-project "A Computational Platform for future diagnostic". The 
funding is for two years. The Position is open to candidates having a 
Master's Level Degree (Equivalent to Italian Laurea 
Magistrale/Specialistica) The successful applicant will help in 
developing  algorithms and computational pipelines for supporting 
diagnosis and prognosis in personalized medicine.

Here is a brief summary  of the call (in case of discrepancies only the

- Public selection through submission of Curriculum Vitae, written 
application,  and interview

- Number of fellowship positions: 1

- Gross Annual Salary : euro 19.367,00 (roughy 17.376 net  salary after 
taxes)

- Duration : 1 year, with possible extension for a second year.

- Begin of employment : Early 2024

- Degree diplomas: Equivalent to a Master degree in Computer Science, 
Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mathematics  (See art. 3 
of the call)

- Requirements:

- experience in the field of Biomedical informatics with preference for 
experience relevant to the  Development of computational pipelines for 
supporting diagnosis and prognosis for personalized medicine., (topic 
referred to in the art. 1 of the call, experience should be declared in 
the manner set out in art. 4 or the call).

- Basic knowledge of Python or R programming languages.

- knowledge of the English language;

- knowledge of the Italian language (only for foreign candidates) to be 
determined with a reading comprehension  of a scientific test.
