Bocconi University is recruiting tenure-track assistant professors in 
computer science. Candidates must apply online by April 14th 2023, for 
the application to be considered.

The university pays internationally competitive salary and provides 
relocation assistance. The language of instructions of all computer 
science courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels is English.


Description

Bocconi University is an amazingly vibrant academic community with 
leading professors. It is located in central Milan, Italy, offering 
undergraduate, graduate, PhD, MBA and Executive programs. A new 
Computing Sciences department has just been established, and we are 
looking to hire tenure track Assistant Professors. All areas of research 
in computing, mathematical and information sciences will be considered. 
Candidates with expertise in the areas of Cryptography, Computational 
Biology, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning are particularly 
welcome to apply. The appointments will commence in Fall 2023 (but a 
later starting date is negotiable).

Qualifications

Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Computer Science or closely related 
areas, and should demonstrate the capacity for exceptional research 
achievement and the ability to teach effectively in undergraduate, 
masters, MBA, and PhD programs. Experienced candidates should have an 
established track record of successful research and teaching.

Job information

The successful candidates will be expected to develop a strong 
publication record, broadly contribute to the academic life of the 
department and be effective teachers both at the undergraduate and 
graduate level. The contract will last for 6 years and will become 
permanent after a successful tenure process.
